Woohoo!

Howdy y'all! I'm still in the MTC. Woohoo. It's actually not bad. I leave next Tuesday so I might not be able to talk next week really. The food here is like good but also not. It's kind of a hit or miss. The TRCs are fun but not. We have one of the hardest "investigators" apparently. He has a cool story but he just wants to learn about the church. He seems very robotic and like a logical thinker so it is way hard to know if he is understanding everything that we are saying. So we will see what we can do with him. We also talked to a member. I can't remember her name but she is from Arizona where mom is from and she has 6 kids. I really like teaching members because there isn't really any pressure. I basically retold my farewell talk and she really liked it so that was cool.

Welll my email just got deleted and it only saved less than half. I don't remember what I wrote so I might miss a lot.

Um. Yeah I really can't remember. Our first TRC was really cool. We also talked to a girl named Bxxxxx who was kind of a punk. The multi tool that Wayne gave me has been way useful. I've opened boxes and we fixed a fan we have with it. I'll for sure be using it when I leave to Louisiana. My district is still cool. Even the sisters are kind of opening up.  All the Elders are awesome. I feel like if we didn't get along like we have then I wouldn't like the mtc half as much. Um here's a cool scripture I guess Haha

D&C 122:7

7 And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if thou be cast into the deep; if the billowing surge conspire against thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my son, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good.

This was by a mural of Joseph Smith in liberty jail and I thought it was pretty cool. Um yeah well that's kinda everything that stuck out. I'll try to write everyone. Next week might be more hectic but we'll see.
See y'alls later

The District

Hey everyone! So this week has been like 10 years. But ever since Sunday it's gone way fast. But the first day was weird. It took so long to get through but it was actually fun. Everyone in my district is so cool haha. But the next day I shaved and bled onto my shirt which wasn't fun so I had to switch out and stuff. I'm almost certain me having a good attitude towards everything has made it way easier. All the elders in my district are in my room and it's a campout haha. It's way fun.

District on Pday
We all have similar humor and it's been sweet. I talked to a guy named Daniel on my first day here and showed him the quote from my farewell talk and I think he may have actually changed his mind because he seemed really unsure about him being able to repent and stuff. But yeah cool. Also the TRC or like practice teaching kinda thing was really cool. We met a guy named Kimball and he may or may not be a member but we taught the restoration and I memorized the first vision like really quick so I said it without reading it and it felt like way powerful. I'm not positive but he looked like he teared up a bit hehehe. So me and elder Engler my comp felt way good haha. We talk to him again on Wednesday so we'll see how it goes. But exercising has been fun playing volleyball and stuff. I'm not in shape yet but hopefully I will get there haha. Sunday was kinda rough. We were in meetings all day but at the very end we watched a video of elder Bednar called the character of Christ. It was way good. Like I've never heard elder Bednar talk like that it was so cool. But yeah. It's only been a week but it feels like months. But it seems like we're bonding with each other like it's been months so it's super sick. I'm sure I'll have more to talk about next week. But uhh. Yeah cool. SEEEEEEEEEYA

PS if you add me on Google hangouts then I can message you all day Tuesday but it'll be kinda off and on.

And so it begins....

Note from Mom: Tim was set apart on Tuesday night at 6:30 pm. He was given a wonderful blessing from President Farnes. We went to the MTC yesterday at 12:30 pm. We had a lunch at his favorite place The Olive Garden beforehand. He loves their baked Ziti. He was nervous and brave. He walked away and didn't look back.

So I just got into the MTC and um. Yep I'm alright and uhh. I got a cool teacher. Sister Schmidt I think is how to spell it. I met my companion he seems really cool and yeah. uhh. cool. IDK if i'm supposed to write a lot but. I feel good. Oh also my p day is on tuesday. That's important. ok cool bye.
